All you need to bring:

 •  Items of personal use (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.)

 •  Food and drinks (note, Cherokee county is a dry county but the cabin is located only about 6 miles from Tennessee which is not).  There are several supermarkets only minutes from the cabin, where you can shop for food and drinks when you arrive in Murphy.  To see the list of stores go to the "Location" tab on this website and select "Area Attractions" and look for "Grocery Stores".

 •  Insect repellant (mosquitoes, chiggers, etc.)

 •  A desire for relaxation, peace and tranquility surrounded by the beauty of mother nature.  A sense of adventure to enjoy all the great outdoors has to offer.

Additional Information

 •  Mountain roads can be curvy and steep.  Gravel driveways are well maintained.  A 4WD or front wheel drive vehicle is helpful but not necessary (except in winter) to travel some mountain roads.
